Sway – Your Dancing Home

Sway – Die Tanzschule am Wasserturm welcomes dancers of all ages and all levels to its dance school in Berlin-Westend. Its program combines recreational dancing, children's classes, fitness, and structured Latin and Standard training for ambitious competition dancers.

Dance programs

Sway offers a broad selection of classes and individual training:

• Latin and Standard competition training for children and advanced dancers
• Introductory competition groups for children from age five, with no partner required
• Dance and movement programs for young children, including Baby Latin and mini ballet
• Hip-hop classes for children and teenagers
• Social Standard and Latin courses for beginners and experienced couples
• Solo Latino, Zumba, stretching, fitness, and programs for dancers aged 65+
• Individual wedding-dance instruction
• ProAm training with a professional teacher as the dance partner

Training

Competition dancers can train in Latin and Standard through structured group sessions that may also include stretching, fitness, and supervised practice. Sway provides programs ranging from a child's first competition steps to intensive training and participation in international competitions.

Recreational dancers can join social dance, solo, and fitness formats, while couples preparing for their wedding can develop an individual choreography through private instruction.

Location

Sway is located directly by the historic water tower in Berlin's Westend-Charlottenburg district. The school can be reached from S-Bahn station Westend or by the M45 bus, and parking is available in the courtyard.
