The 8th ProAm BudapestBall brings dancers from across Europe and beyond to the historic city of Budapest for a full day of Pro-Am competition, social events, and international dance atmosphere. Organized by Andrej and Melinda Skufca, the event continues to grow as one of the notable Pro-Am dance weekends in Central Europe.
Set against the backdrop of the Danube River and Budapest’s iconic architecture, the competition combines elegant ballroom traditions with a modern international dance community. Competitors, teachers, and spectators can expect a stylish and welcoming event with ballroom and Latin categories, scholarships, social activities, and evening celebrations.
Venue
The competition takes place at the Hilton Budapest, located inside the famous Castle District overlooking the Danube River and the Hungarian Parliament. The venue combines historic surroundings with modern comfort and offers panoramic views across the city.
Budapest itself is one of Europe’s most impressive dance destinations, known for its architecture, bridges, cafés, nightlife, and vibrant cultural atmosphere. Staying in the Castle District allows visitors to explore many of the city’s landmarks within walking distance.
