Łódź Open Festival 2026 takes place on September 26, 2026 at Zatoka Sportu in Łódź, Poland. The event combines international WDSF competitions with Polish national categories and Solo events, bringing together dancers across different age groups and competitive levels for a full day of Standard and Latin dancing.
The competition is organized by Uczniowski Klub Sportowy Tiger Team together with the Polski Związek Sportu Tanecznego (PZST). The event is held under the patronage of the City of Łódź and the Marshal's Office.

Venue
The competition takes place at Zatoka Sportu, Al. Politechniki 10, 93-590 Łódź, Poland.
Dancers will compete on a 16 × 22 metre floor, providing a total competition area of 352 m². Located in central Poland, Łódź is accessible for dancers travelling from other parts of the country as well as international participants.

Registration closes on September 21, 2026 at 23:59.
The payment deadline is September 22, 2026 at 23:59.
Competitors entering through the Polish system must register through the PZST database within the registration period and meet the applicable PZST licensing requirements.
Participants competing under PZST rules must:
- Register through the PZST database by September 21, 2026 at 23:59
- Complete the required payment by September 22, 2026 at 23:59
- Hold a valid PZST national competition licence for the current year and be active in the PZST database
- Represent a club affiliated with PZST sporting structures that holds a valid national competition licence and is active in the PZST database
- Bring a printed competition number provided through the link sent by the PZST database
- Present an identification document when entering the venue
- Use heel protectors on competition shoes
Competitors who need to withdraw are required to notify the organizer and withdraw through the appropriate PZST database link no later than one day before the competition.
Entry Fees
Entry fees depend on the competition category:
- H, G and F categories: 120 PLN per couple for each event
- Ranking and Open competitions: 120 PLN per couple for each event
- Solo categories: 60 PLN per competitor for each event
- WDSF categories: €55 / 240 PLN per couple for each event

Spectator Tickets & Table Reservations
Spectators can choose between regular grandstand admission and reserved seating at tables.
A grandstand ticket costs 50 PLN.
A reserved seat at a table costs 120 PLN per person. The table reservation already includes admission to the competition, so an additional grandstand ticket is not required.
The number of table seats is limited. Selected tables will not be available for reservation during the Evening Gala because they are reserved for invited guests.

Dancers travelling to Łódź should arrange their accommodation early, particularly when travelling with a partner, coach, or family for the competition weekend.

The number of available rooms may be limited, so dancers and visitors are encouraged to book their accommodation early.
Photography & Video
Competitors participating in Łódź Open Festival 2026 agree to photographic, video, television, and online recording during the competition.
The organizers may use, publish, and broadcast this material through different media in accordance with the applicable Polish press and media regulations.
Refunds & Withdrawals
Refunds are available only in justified circumstances, such as illness or injury supported by a medical certificate, provided the situation is reported before the competition begins.
Participants must withdraw from the competition through the appropriate link in the PZST database no later than one day before the tournament. This allows the organizer to prepare the competition program based on the actual number of participants.
Failure to withdraw within the required period results in the loss of eligibility for a refund.
Ticket Complaints
Complaints concerning purchased competition tickets can be submitted electronically to:
A complaint should be submitted within 7 days from the date when the reason for the complaint occurred, and no later than 14 days after the end of the competition.
The complaint should include:
- A short description of the reason for the complaint
- The date when the issue occurred
- First and last name of the person submitting the complaint

The organizer states that it will make every effort to process valid complaints within 14 working days of receiving them.
The result of the complaint process will be communicated electronically or in writing using the contact details supplied with the complaint.
Complaints submitted after the specified deadline or without the required information may not be considered.

Participant Requirements
Participants are responsible for meeting the relevant licensing and registration requirements for their competition categories.
Competitors entering through the PZST system should make sure their licence and club status are active before the registration deadline.
A printed competition number and identification document must be presented when entering the venue. Competitors are also required to protect the competition floor by using appropriate heel protectors on their dance shoes.
Insurance & Personal Belongings
The organizer does not provide insurance for people participating in the competition.
The organizer is also not responsible for personal belongings left in the changing rooms. Competitors and visitors should keep valuable items with them or otherwise ensure they are stored securely.

Information concerning the processing of personal data is provided by the Polish DanceSport Federation (PZST) through its official website.
Additional Rules
Any matters or disputes not specifically covered by the competition regulations will be decided by the Tournament Director in consultation with the Chairperson.
If a registered couple withdraws, the couple or their coach is required to notify the organizer no later than one day before the competition.
