Dance Sport Club Step Up presents the Open International Dance Festival "Chisinau Dance Festival 2026" on 17 October 2026 in Chisinau, Moldova. The event welcomes dancers, clubs, and spectators for a day dedicated to Ballroom, Latin, and Artistic Dance.
Organized by Dance Sport Club Step Up and Graur Daniel, the open international festival includes Ballroom, Latin, and Artistic Dance programs. It is conducted according to IDSA and ADM rules.

The competition takes place at Palatul Republicii, Strada Maria Cebotari 16, Chisinau, Moldova.

- 09:00: Children, Juvenile 1+2, Junior 1+2, and Youth + Adult Show categories
- 11:00: Children solo, Disco/Disco Plus, Debut, School, and early Juvenile categories
- 12:30: Juvenile and Junior School, N class, and Children E Solo categories
- 16:00: Standard events for E, D, C, and open solo and couple categories

Dance Show Categories
Dance Show nominations include:
- Folk and stylized folk dance
- Modern Dance, including Hip-Hop, Disco, and Breakdance
- Dance Show
- Free Dance
- Acrobatic Dance
- Contemporary/Modern
- Ballroom-based choreography using Standard or Latin dances
- All Ladies Standard- or Latin-based choreography
Group formats are Small Group (4–7 participants), Formation (8 or more), and Production (25 or more). Age divisions are Baby (7 and under), Juvenile (11 and under), Junior (12–15), and Youth + Adult (16 and older).
Registration
Ballroom and Latin confirmations must be completed through FlyMark by 14 October 2026. Artistic Dance confirmations must be sent to blackfishdan@mail.ru by the same deadline.
Judges must confirm their participation as judges through FlyMark by 14 October 2026. A dress code applies throughout the day.
The organizer reserves the right to combine or separate categories.
Entry Fees and Tickets
- Spectator ticket: 250 MDL for the full day
- Ballroom and Latin: 250 MDL per person per program for Moldovan dancers
- Artistic Dance: 250 MDL per person per program
- Participants from other countries: €25 per person per program
The event has a cultural and sporting purpose, and participant fees are treated as donations.
Awards
- All finalists in Debut and School classes receive medals and diplomas
- Solo prizewinners from Beginner level receive diplomas, medals, and cups
- Couple prizewinners from Beginner level receive diplomas, medals, and cups
- Artistic Dance Formation and Production categories receive diplomas, medals, and a cup
Travel & Accommodation
Chisinau is accessible by international flights, bus routes, and regional transport connections. Booking accommodation early is recommended, especially for dancers traveling with clubs, teams, or families during competition weekends.
