Burgas Open 2026 will bring dancers, coaches, adjudicators, and supporters to Burgas on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast for a major WDSF-level competition weekend. The event is officially supported by the World DanceSport Federation and includes two headline title events at Sports Hall Mladost.
On 26 September 2026, Burgas hosts the WDSF European Championship Under 21 Standard and the WDSF World Championship Junior II Ten Dance under one roof. The wider competition program also includes WDSF, open, beginner, solo, duo, trio, team, Latin, and Standard categories across the weekend.

The Under 21 Standard championship includes Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep. The Junior II Ten Dance championship includes all ten WDSF competition dances across Latin and Standard.

The program includes championship, WDSF, open, beginner, solo, duo, trio, team, Latin, and Standard events across both competition days.
ALL BEGINNER CATEGORIES are BASIC categories, open to debut/first-time athletes as well as all other competitors, provided that they strictly follow the WDSF Basic Syllabus.

Entries for the WDSF championship events are handled through official federation channels.

The organizer notes that entries for these title events are made through the National Member Body and require a valid WDSF licence.
Entry Fees and Tickets
Entry fees are listed per category, with separate spectator and VIP ticket pricing for competition days.
Entry Fees - International Competition
- Juvenile I and Juvenile II: 40 EUR per discipline per day + 10 EUR for an additional discipline
- Junior I and Junior II: 50 EUR per discipline per day + 10 EUR for an additional discipline
- WDSF Youth, Under 21, and Rising Stars: 70 EUR for 1 discipline + 10 EUR for any additional discipline
- WDSF International Open Latin: 70 EUR
- WDSF Solo Girls Latin: 50 EUR for 1 discipline + 10 EUR for any additional discipline
- Open Solo categories: 40 EUR for 1 discipline + 10 EUR for an additional discipline
Solo girls willing to dance WDSF and Open categories will be charged according to the WDSF fees.
Entry Fees - Beginners / Rising Stars
Entry fees for Beginners and Rising Stars categories, listed by the organizer as "Такса за участие в Изгряващи звезди":
- 25 EUR per couple Rising Stars: 1 discipline + 5 EUR for each additional discipline
- 15 EUR per couple Rising Stars: 1 cup + 5 EUR for each additional cup
- 15 EUR solo girl Rising Stars: 1 discipline + 5 EUR for each additional discipline
- 10 EUR solo girl Rising Stars: per cup
- 15 EUR per person in formation teams
- WDSF European Championship Under 21 Standard: 50 EUR

Spectator Tickets
Spectator tickets are available on the spot and do not include access to the dance floor or the VIP area around the dance floor.

VIP table seats are located near the dance floor.
