World Dance School Montpellier

World Dance School is a dance school serving Montpellier and surrounding communities. Its competitive branch, World Dance&Sport Club (WDSC), was founded in September 2024 by professional dancer, teacher and director Jasmin Sicard.

The school welcomes children, teenagers and adults for recreational, social and competitive training. Classes range from Latin and Standard DanceSport to partner dancing, solo programs, stage styles and movement-based wellbeing activities.

Programs are offered at beginner through competitive levels. WDSC is affiliated with the French Dance Federation, enabling eligible club dancers to enter French and international competitions.

Director

Jasmin Sicard is the school's principal teacher and director. He reports more than 20 years of DanceSport experience, bronze medals at the 2021 French Latin Championship and the 2024 French Showdance Championship, two Occitanie titles and seven Languedoc-Roussillon titles across Latin and Standard. He represented France at the 2021 World Championship and holds university qualifications in physical education and sport.
