Club de Ball Esportiu Wapachá

Wapachá is a dance school and DanceSport club in Reus, Catalonia. It welcomes dancers of different ages and abilities, with pathways ranging from recreational and social dancing to specialist competition training.

The centre teaches International Standard and Latin, Ballroom and social dance, salsa and other Latin rhythms, urban dance and hip-hop, flamenco and Sevillanas, classical ballet and show dance. Its program also includes children's classes, private tuition, wedding choreography, workshops, camps and regular practice sessions for students.

DanceSport and competition

Club de Ball Esportiu Wapachá supports dancers from introductory and pre-competition levels through advanced competitive training. Its dancers take part in Standard, Latin, 10-Dance and choreographic events, while the club also hosts ranked competitions for couples and solo dancers across multiple age groups and levels.

Inclusive dance

Wapacha Diversity is the club's inclusive dance project, established in 2011. The program brings together dancers with and without physical or intellectual disabilities and offers social and competitive opportunities in individual, couple and group formats, including wheelchair DanceSport.

Coaching team

The team is led by director and Standard and Latin coach Lluís Pérez, together with club director and Ballroom coach Isabel Maria Pérez. The teaching staff also covers Latin, urban dance and other specialist disciplines.
