Competitive coaching
The coaching team includes accomplished competitors and licensed German DanceSport trainers. Chief Latin coach Julia Luckow is a two-time world champion in the Standard and Latin combination. Chief Standard coaches Yahor Boldysh and Irina Averina have ranked among the world's leading WDSF Standard couples and won the German championship in the Adult S class.
The wider team supports beginners, youth athletes, advanced couples, solo dancers, recreational groups, fitness, and artistic disciplines. The club also invites prominent guest coaches and holds training camps in preparation for regional and national championships.
TSC Excelsior regularly hosts and participates in DanceSport events. Its competition history includes state, eastern German, German, European, and world-level achievements across Standard, Latin, and Ten Dance.
Jazz, Modern, and community dance
The Jazz and Modern/Contemporary program combines Contemporary, ballet, Lyrical Jazz, and Modern Dance with technique, expression, creativity, and performance. The club's formation NeustArt has competed in the German league system since 2018 and has reached the Regionalliga.
Its Gugelhupf folk-dance section explores partner, circle, and chain dances from across Europe and beyond. Beginners can join without a partner or previous experience.
