Östermalms Dansstudio
Östermalms Dansstudio is a dance school in central Stockholm for children and adults at all experience levels. Owners and head teachers Per Almberg and Emese Bengtsberg lead a program that combines recreational dancing with structured coaching for national and international DanceSport competition.
Classes and services
The studio offers Ballroom and Latin courses for beginners and experienced dancers, competitive couple and solo training, children's dance mix, ballet, Zumba Latin fitness and feminine-style classes. Private lessons, workshops, dance camps, group bookings, wedding choreography and dance shows are also available.
Beginner Ballroom and Latin courses introduce dances including Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Waltz, Tango and Foxtrot. Students may register individually or with a partner, depending on the course.
Teachers and competitive coaching
Per Almberg and Emese Bengtsberg are professional Latin competitors, qualified dance educators and adjudicators who coach dancers from beginner through international competition level. Svetlana Pajusova specializes in Standard and competitive DanceSport, while Iuliana Dzhulai teaches ballet and supports competition dancers with posture, flexibility, musicality and performance. Brigi Nagy teaches children's classes, feminine-style dance and wedding choreography.
The studio works with Östermalms Dansklubb on competitive activities, including the Stockholm Dance Championship.
