Lyon Métropole Danse Sportive
Lyon Métropole Danse Sportive (LMDS) is a DanceSport association based in Vénissieux, in the Lyon metropolitan area of France. Founded in 2003 and formerly known as Vénissieux Olympique Danse Sportive, the club brings together recreational and competitive dancers and is affiliated with the French Dance Federation.

LMDS develops dancers for French championship and cup events as well as international WDSF competition. Club couples have represented France at European and World Championships in junior and youth categories, including both Standard and Latin disciplines.
Competitions and development
The club is also an experienced event organiser. LMDS has hosted French DanceSport championships and Coupe de France competitions in Vénissieux, contributing to the development of competitive dance across the Lyon region.
