Dansíþróttafélag Hafnarfjarðar

Dansíþróttafélag Hafnarfjarðar (DÍH) is a DanceSport club in Hafnarfjörður and a member of the Icelandic DanceSport Federation. It provides a pathway from introductory children's dance and recreational classes to structured training for competition couples.

The club trains at Bjarkarhúsið and also uses facilities in Kaplakriki. Its program combines social ballroom instruction with International Standard and Latin development.

Children's and youth groups are organized by age and experience. More advanced competitors train several times per week, while adult offerings include both beginner and continuing options.

Coaching

Executive director and head teacher Auður Haraldsdóttir holds Icelandic teaching credentials and Licentiate qualifications in Ballroom and Latin. The coaching team also includes experienced Icelandic competitors and international guest teachers.
